Tonight: Mild and muggy. Lows in the 70s. Areas of fog.

Saturday: Wet start with afternoon clearing. Chance for an afternoon shower or thunderstorm.
Tropical Storm Fay will produce periods of heavy rain for Connecticut starting Friday afternoon and lasting into early Saturday. Tropical downpours could lead to flash flooding and a flash flood watch is in effect for the entire state until 12pm Saturday.
We're also monitoring the potential for any severe weather to develop Friday into Saturday. Scattered storms and an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. We do look to clear out Saturday afternoon with breaks of sun and only a low risk for an afternoon shower or storm.
Sunday looks beautiful with plenty of sunshine but it will be hot and humid once again.
